Mechanical engineer turned Full Stack Software Engineer — self-taught, shipped into production. I transitioned from running a CNC machine shop to building enterprise-grade web applications used by 100,000+ users. Over the past 3+ years I have worked on real-time education platforms, R&D workflow systems for Mercedes-Benz India, AI voice and document tools, and several full-stack freelance products.

I specialise in scalable frontend architecture, real-time systems, AI integrations and modular design — primarily with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and AWS.

Experience

  • Joined with a steep delivery timeline — contributing to production on Day 1. Within 3 months, took over as the de-facto UI lead after the previous lead exited.
  • Built an enterprise Test Drive Management Platform (RTO-like system) used by ~1 lakh active internal users — covering qualification applications, approval workflows, ID card generation, test-track/proving-ground booking, costing calculation and automated reminders.
  • Architected a highly complex Test Drive Overview Screen with day/month/year-wise overlapping visualisation across departments and approval stages.
  • Led UI development across multiple modules; implemented RBAC privilege system and modular Next.js component architecture.
  • Reduced third-party dependency footprint by building custom hooks and reusable components; managed Dockerised frontend deployments.

  • Started as a trainee contributing to live projects in HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery and Bootstrap; progressed to owning React projects end-to-end within the first few months.
  • ProSpiders — Built the company's training-centre website (prospiders.com) covering course listings, batch schedules, achievements and an enquiry form.
  • TestFreshers — Sole UI developer & code reviewer for a large-scale education platform (testfreshers.qspiders.com) with 6 roles (Admin, Trainer, Quiz Creator, Senior/Junior Approver, Student). Features: hierarchical batch/subject/chapter/topic/question structure, real-time quiz engine via WebSockets, certification system based on attendance & scores, custom tree-visualisation component. Migrated CRA → Vite (significantly reduced build size). Integrated 78+ REST API endpoints. Quiz engine was later reused by other internal platforms.
  • Bench — Class management system (alpha.qspiders.com) with live & pre-recorded video streaming. Implemented end-to-end: FFmpeg for video splitting & HLS chunking, Video.js in React for playback, attendance monitoring. Contributed to both UI and backend.
  • Kotlin Android — Learnt Kotlin to build and contribute a Manager module UI to an internal attendance-tracking mobile app.
